The Mena House dates back to 1870, and is steeped in history including having been the site of the 1977 Egypt and Israel peace settlement talks which including the United Nations. Many notable visitors who have stayed at this historic hotel include Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, King George V and Queen Mary, Winston Churchill, Agatha Christie, Roger Moore, Cecil B. After our Opening Circle, we will then drive to Sakkara to view the Old Kingdom pyramids on the west bank near the ancient city of Memphis. The Step Pyramid at Sakkara is the world's oldest, freestanding stone structures. Over the past 5 years, many ancient tombs, complete with hieroglyphics and a sarcophagus, have been newly discovered here. After Sakkara, we will have a late lunch at a typical Egyptian restaurant in the countryside, and then we return to the Mena House to allow you to slowly integrate into the energy of this ancient land.

Overnight at the Mena House Hotel (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

King Tut Golden Mask

You will also have time to wander the museum in quiet solitude to ponder the artifacts left to us by the pharaohs and to contemplate the mysteries surrounding the great dynasties.

After lunch, we will visit Old Cairo. The diversity of faiths in this area is amazing and inspiring. Here we will visit three diversely religious churches, all within a seven-minute walk of each other ... St. Sergius Church (a Christian Coptic Orthodox church), Ben Ezra Jewish Synagogue and Amr Ibn El Ass Islamic Mosque.

Side view of the Sphinx

Day 4 - Monday, February 19th - Sphinx / Cairo / Aswan / Abu Simbel:
Early in the morning, we will experience our special Private Visit to the Giza Plateau. Here, in a private visit between the Paws of The Great Sphinx, we will be able to meditate and connect with her. Edgar Cayce prophesized that, beneath the paws of the Sphinx, there was a Hall of Records. This Hall of Records is allegedly where all essential knowledge of alchemy, astronomy, mathematics, magic and medicine is stored. Whether or not it is an actual physical library, or one that is closely guarded by the Sphinx residing in another dimension in which only those allowed with purity of heart are able to access its secrets, here we will give thanks for what we are about to receive and tune into her wisdom and knowledge from the protective paws of the Sphinx, as she gazes over the Egyptian countryside to announce our arrival.

Afterwards, we go back to hotel for a delicious breakfast. We then pack up, and head to the airport. We will take a short flight to Aswan in the southern portion of Egypt. Upon arrival, we drive into the desert for about three hours to reach Abu Simbel. We then check into the our hotel for the night.

Overnight at The Seti Abu Simbel hotel (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

Front facade of Abu Simbel Temple

Day 5 - Tuesday, February 20th - Abu Simbel Temple / Aswan:
This morning we visit Abu Simbel and its two magnificent temples.  The pure size of this temple can sometimes cause people to randomly pass by the small room at the back of the main temple. The room contains carvings of four beings. These carvings are said to be that of Ramesses and three Egyptian gods. I have personally meditated before these four beings and have received messages from them.

The Afandina Nile Yacht

Following breakfast, we pack up and drive back to the city of Aswan. Upon arrival into Aswan, we check-in to our beautiful, private yacht, the Dahabeya Afandina which will be our home for the next 8 nights.

This evening we will have time to explore Aswan city.  Overnight on our private yacht, the Afandina

(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

Philae Temple

Day 6 - Wednesday, February 21st - Philae / Temple of Isis / Felucca Ride / Aswan Souk (Market):
In our private, sunrise meditation and ritual we return to the source of all, the Great Mother, to receive the blessings of ISIS at her beautiful island temple at PHILAE. Here we will be able to do ceremony and meditate in the presence of Isis, in her inner sanctum, the Holy of Holies of her temple.

Temple dedicated to Isis. Because of the myth surrounding Isis and her bringing back her husband Osiris to life, she is known as not only the Great Mother but also as a powerful, life-giving healer. She is also known to have the power to solve many life problems. The will be plenty of time to wander this beautiful site and feel the energy of this magical place. Afterwards, we will return to our beloved home, the Afandina, for a breakfast on deck.

Colorful image of the Aswan Souk (market)

In the afternoon, we will enjoy a relaxing Felucca Ride around Elephantine Island where the Ark Of The Covenant was stored before being moved to Ethiopia. After a delicious dinner on our private yacht, we will explore the famous Aswan Souk ... an Egyptian market place filled with wonderful things to delight your sense of sight, smell and taste.Overnight on our private yacht, the Afandina (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

Kom Ombo Temple

Day 7 - Thursday, February 22nd - Sail to Kom Ombo / Kom Ombo temple:
While you are enjoying your breakfast on the sundeck of your private yacht, we cast off and sail to Kom Ombo.

Kom Obmo is the only dual temple in Egypt. This dramatic temple, poised between the edge of the river and the encroaching desert sand, was dedicated to two gods - half of the temple dedicated to Sobek the crocodile headed god, and the other half of the temple dedicated to Horus, the hawk-headed son of Isis and Osiris.

The myth about Horus, Sobek, Isis and Osiris tells of how the Horus and Sobek, formerly enemies, were united by Isis, to work together to re-member Osiris, the god of life, death and rebirth/resurrection.

Statues of Horus and Sobek

If we were to take this Egyptian myth and interpret it symbolically, the healing potential at this temple becomes very obvious. Sobek is the Egyptian god of strength, fortitude, fertility and rebirth, and Horus is the hawk-headed god is the god of healing, protection, the sun and the sky. Symbolically one could say that Sobek represents the physical body and Horus, the hawk, represents the higher vision of one's Spirit. Other characteristics of Horus and Sobek can be attributed to light/dark, yin/yang, positive/negative, female/male, conscious/unconscious (left brain/right brain).Having just been at Isis's temple yesterday, we carry her energy and blessings with us to unite those energies of duality within us. And at the Seat of Neutrality, we can make the conscious intention to have these dualistic energies within you to work as one, to further take another step closer to our self-mastery and ascension. We will dock near Kom Ombo for the night.Overnight on our private yacht, the Afandina (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

View from the front deck of the Afandina Nile Yacht

Day 8 - Friday, February 23rd - Sailing / Integration and Rest Day:
This morning we sail to Edfu through the Egyptian countryside. By now, you will have started to notice that although we are taking out time going from site to site, the energies are starting to build. It is important that we have to time to rest, relax and integrate those energies. Today is one of those days. Nothing to do but sail, journal, meditate and connect closer with your fellow soul seekers.

The time shared with the like-minded souls on this trip can reveal lessons and synchronicities. After all, you have chosen to share this journey with only 19 other people on this journey and it is no coincidence that these people are on this same journey with you.

To watch the Nile go by and imagine how it was sailing down the Nile in ancient times is a joy that you will not soon forget.

Overnight on our private yacht, the Afandina (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

Statue of Horus at Edfu Temple

Day 9 - Saturday, February 24th - Sail to Edfu / Edfu Temple:
Today, we sail to Edfu. This morning again is free to do as you wish. In the afternoon, we visit Edfu and the Temple of Horus which is one of the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. Horus is typically seen symbolized as a falcon or hawk. Horus is associated with higher vision, wisdom to see the larger picture, clarity and protection (and sometimes seen as an aspect of Archangel Michael).

Here we can meditate and call on the Horus to assist us with any issues that we are wanting clarity on, to be able to see and understand the issue from a higher perspective.

Overnight on our private yacht, the Afandina (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

Large columns at Karnak Temple, Egypt

Day 10 - Sunday, February 25th - Sailing to Esna / Karnak temple / Sekhmet Private Visit:
After breakfast we will start sailing to Esna and cross Esna lock. You will want to be up on deck for all the activities.

In the afternoon, we visit the magnificent Karnak Temple … the biggest temple complex in Egypt. It is dedicated to the Gods Amun and Mut. As you enter, you walk between a row of rams-headed sphinxes, which originally connected Karnak with Luxor Temple two miles away.

The sacred lake at Karnak is known to have purification qualities. Here we can set our intention to release any energies that are not in tune with our highest good.

Carving of Sekhmet on a column in Egypt

Outside Karnak's main halls is a small chapel dedicated to Sekhmet. Sekhmet is the lioness Goddess of compassion and courage. As a lioness, she is known as a fierce protector. She is also associated with feminine fire and is a renowned healer where she is known for her magic and ability to hunt down an imbalance at its origin. She was the patron of physicians and healers, and the ancient Egyptians believed that Sekhmet had a cure for every problem.

In a potent private meditation, we will honor her and call on her to assist with any additional healing needed including the empowerment and/or balancing of her attributes within ourselves.  Personally, I find that this private visit is an experience that is so palpable, that you can feel Sekhmet's energy and presence.

Overnight on our private yacht, the Afandina

(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

Ceiling carving showing a Procession of people walking into the Light in Dendera Temple, Egypt

Day 11 - Monday, February 26th - Dendera Temple:
This morning we head to Dendera to visit the exquisite temple dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of abundance, love and joy. The detailed hieroglyphics and carvings in this temple are stunningly beautiful, and over the last few years, have been restored back to their original colors. As it is with many ancient cultures, the Egyptians, as can be seen from their hieroglyphics, were very much into the study of Astrology, how their lives related to the planets and the stars, ascension and what comes after death, as can be seen from the image showing a portion of Dendera's ceiling and an ascension procession walking into the Eye of Horus. There is a crypt area at the back of the Temple which dates back further than the temple on top. Here you can see the famous hieroglyphic known as the Dendera Light.

In the afternoon, we return to our beloved Afandina for lunch. After lunch, we have the opportunity to further explore the city of Luxor.

Overnight on our private yacht, the Afandina (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).

Hatshepsut's Temple

Day 12 - Tuesday, February 27th - Hatshepsut / Valley of the kings / West Bank / Luxor Temple:
This morning we make a sunrise pilgrimage to Deir el Bahari, the funerary temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut.

As we approach the temple, we see that Horus has joined us on our journey, and as he greets us at the entrance and guards the site. As we walk up the stairs, and we glance off the left, we see that the Hathors have also joined us here.

Pharaoh Hatshepsut was a female pharaoh but had to hide who she really was in order to be taken seriously and to do her job. Hatshepsut was one of those that came before us to tear down the outdated concept that all rulers had to be male. She encourages us to step into our true selves and true power, and to have the courage to show all of ourselves. In doing so, we provide an example to others to do the same and step into their own mastery. Here we receive her gifts and encouragement to be our authentic selves.

A colorful tomb interior at the Valley of the Kings, Egypt

Afterwards, we will also visit the VALLEY OF THE KINGS on the West Bank of the Nile. The Valley of Kings holds countless tombs of the pharaohs where the was found many sacred transformative texts, including the books of knowing light and dark, the book of what is in the underworld, the book of caverns, and naming and taming the hours of the night. Here are the tombs of Tutankhamun, Ramses III and VII and many others. We will make a short visit to the COLOSSI OF MEMNON.

Afterwards, we will return back to the Afandina for lunch and relax for a while.

Evening image of the columns at LuxorTemple

This evening we will pay a night visit to the Temple of Luxor.  Theories about Luxor Temple abound, and one predominant theory is that the temple was built in the form of a man. And by walking into the temple, you activate your chakras, starting at your feet, and as you walk back to the Holy of Holies, you gradually activate your chakras all the way up to your crown chakra.

This is a wonderful place to focus on healing. As you walk through the body of this temple, you are encouraged to notice how your body feels and re-member radiant health.

Overnight on our private yacht, the Afandina (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included).
