SACRED SITE JOURNEYS

For those of us on a spiritual path, the road can often be lonely.  Trying to find like-minded individuals to talk about the things that we are passionate about can be like finding a needle in a haystack. 

 

The most rewarding gifts of taking a sacred site journey, with a group of like-minded individuals, are the friendships that are made that last a life-time.  Where over a cup of tea, or while sharing a meal, we can talk about Archangels, Ascended Masters, past lives and our connection with God and the Divine … and not feel any hesitancy in doing so because we are in a safe place.

But it is not just about the friendships made.   It is about going on a journey with the conscious intent of connecting better to God and getting to know ourselves better, so that we can become better human beings to be able to serve Mother Earth, humanity and God.  

 

Traveling to sacred sites, especially when traveling to a country outside of our home country, allows us to be become vulnerable and to be in a place of the unexpected.   This unexpected place prevents our normal behavioral patterns from kicking in out of habit.  And because we are in a place that is outside of our comfort level, and are in a place that we are not familiar with, we can catch glimpses of ourselves that we did not know were there, or were hiding deep beneath our comfortable exterior. 

 

Here we can break away from our old habits, and allow our inner child to come forth and play.  Where we can let our guard down, and be vulnerable enough to release old patterns, thoughts and beliefs that no longer work for us so we have room to let new energies and inspiration in.

This place of unexpectedness is where the magic happens.   Where we learn from ourselves, and where we God / Spirit / Creator can get in to teach us valuable lessons so that we can take that next step on our spiritual path.  Where our fellow travelers can teach us as much as we can teach them, regardless of whether we are novice or an experienced light worker.

 

Where we can not only experience the pristine beauty of nature, but also the diversity and excitement of being in a different country … only to find out that we are all not that much different from each other.
